A long-time family resource, CCRC has collected and distributed children’s books and toys, for over 15 years, through their What a Difference a BOOK Makes campaign and Holiday Book and Toy Drive efforts. Over the years, donations have evolved to include larger items like car seats, cribs, highchairs, and clothing. Since April 2020, we have sourced, received, packaged, and distributed over $1 million in the form of food, formula, diapers, and general supplies.
Annually, CCRC offers multiple community events to local children, families, and child care providers and has since reinforced its commitment to delivering concrete support in times of need through their Family Basic Needs Center.
Each time someone asks if we can handle a major donation – we ask for more. We know the need never stops – so neither do we.
CCRC helps grow and strengthen our ECE workforce and includes training for providers, apprenticeships, and the Quality Start coaching programs.
